Privacy Policy

    Collected data:
  1. Surname, first name (can be a pseudonym; providing your real name is not mandatory). Your first name and your SHV number will be shared with pilots you tag, as well as pilots whose tags you accept.
  2. Email address, for login and notifications.
  3. SHV number, as well as proof of the SHV number (e.g., SHV license, SHV membership). Can be provided without a real name. The proof (which may contain your real name) serves only for a one-time verification and is deleted immediately afterwards. It is not permanently linked to your profile.
  4. Uploaded photos, videos, and YouTube links. All files are only visible to you and tagged users, unless you set the upload to "public". Public uploads are generally accessible via their link, and may appear as examples on the skysee.ch homepage for a limited time. However, they are not searchable, etc.
  5. Confirmed as well as rejected tags on photos and videos.

Purpose of processing: The data serves exclusively for the operation of the platform, the verification of users as paraglider pilots, and the exchange of images within the community. We have no advertising partners, external trackers, etc.; however, we use cookies to enable sessions.

Storage location & Third parties: The data is stored with Infomaniak in Switzerland.

Your rights: You can request all data stored by us or initiate its deletion at any time. You retain all rights to your photos. However, by uploading, you grant SkySee the non-exclusive right to store the images and display them to other users within the scope of the app. You confirm that you have the right to publish the images and do not violate any third-party rights. SkySee may deactivate uploads if complaints are received.
